Green School
Green school in Bali is made entirely out of bamboo. To the right is a picture of the bridge leading to the school. Bamboo is one of the most sustainable materials you can use for a building. But would you make a bamboo building in Canada? Children will figure out in the structures lesson plan of the toolkit.

Life Learn Uganda
I came across this school in Uganda today. Best of all, all the plans are included on the site so you can really see how the design started from bottom up.
It is amazing how much architecture depends on climate and region. Most of the building architectural characteristics would not be possible in cold Canada.
Their philosophy is: To explore. To create. To solve problems. To experience. To gain learning skills for life.
:)
Remarkably, this philosophy seems progressive to me compared to traditional schools. It will catch on!

Good (Creative) Morning!
I just listened to Mathieu Lehanneur speak at Creative Mornings Paris. Lehanneur is an incredible designer primarily inspired by science. He can also be listened to on Ted Talks:
A revolutionary example of office design. At 16: 18, Lehanneur describes the fascinating office he designed. It brings in the outdoors with the plants, even plants in the ground! And that white wall - it's a whiteboard! Like we are cavemen drawing on the cave walls, as Lehanneur puts it.
